Judy is a writer and landscape designer in Iowa City with a B.A. in Literature and Art, an M.A. in Communications and an A.S. in Horticulture. She is an Associate Member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, a member of the Association for Garden Communicators and a Fellow and Past President of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. Her award-winning landscape designs can be found throughout Johnson County and beyond.
Judy has written for numerous garden and landscape publications and is the author of Gardening with Native Plants in the Upper Midwest: Bringing the Tallgrass Prairie Home. From how-to articles to garden profiles to book reviews, Judy writes for a variety of readers. She is currently working on her second book. During the summers she enrolls in the University of Iowa Summer Writing Festival.
